One resource that always seems to be forgotten about is the
wonderful collection of information assembled by Joel Alpers
on his web site some years ago. The free "3D Encyclopedia" at
http://www.rmm3d.com/3d.encyclopedia/index.html includes a
section called "An Illustrated Guide to Stereo Slide Mounting"
at http://www.rmm3d.com/3d.encyclopedia/mounting/mounting.html
In browsing through it, however, I believe that I spotted an
error. So I've decided to have a contest and offer a free
prize: 100 free precision cut cardboard stereo mounts added
to your next order of $25 or higher, exclusive of shipping.
(Select your choice of any of the eight mount sizes.)
To win, be among the first four people to correctly answer
this question: What mounting error will result if you
follow the instructions given in the illustrated guide?
You must also include in your answer the specific subsection
number containing the error, and an explanation of how to
fix the instructions. DO NOT REPLY TO THE LIST. Only
replies sent to me off-list will qualify, and any reply
to the list will terminate the contest. Replies from DrT
and DrDave will not be counted, so yes, you really do have
a chance! ;-)
Void where prohibited, taxed, etc. etc.
