why should I start ANOTHER? This list fulfils my needs for staying in
touch with experienced 3d photographers. I'm happy to stay here and
lurk, ask questions, learn. I'm glad to give my contribution every
time I believe I can (indeed I started another 3d list, but in
italian, to help my Country's stereoscopists to stay in touch)

I believe it can help popularity of stereoscopy. Our lists don't
fulfil my (OUR?) needs for proselitism: I often surf the Usenet
looking for postings about 3d: I find weird questions and weird
answers... I try to provide the correct answer and always give tips
to join this list (or the equivalent in my counterpart's language)
but I seldom meet the same people here. of course I don't spend 24/7
at my PC, so I wonder what would happen if those people could find a
NG devoted to stereoscopy.

consider one can sort messages by the subjects, filter out the
recurrent spammers and, last but not least, an Usenet unmoderate NG
needs little care: once it's started, it goes by itself.
