You might want to look at Edmund Industrial Optics (a division of Edmund
Scientific) http://www.edmundoptics.com or request their catalog (101 East
Gloucester Pike, Barrington, NJ 08007-1380, (800) 363-1992). They have
quite a variety of lenses.

Thanks for answering my question about viewer
magnification.
I am still trying to find the best lenses for my
homemade stereo viewer.
I looked at a "Cabin" brand 4X loupe in a photostore
yesterday. It seemed very sharp (without having to
find a sweet spot), little or no distortion, covered
more than an entire 8P slide, and was sharp corner to
corner with no chromatic aberations. It think it is
the best lens I have found so far for under $90. I
was still hoping to keep each lens under $75, but I
don't know if I will be able to find one.
