[photo-3d] Twinning Pentax ZX-M: Need help

I recently bought a couple Pentax ZX-M cameras in hopes to have them 
twinned electronically for stereo hypers (mostly for 3-15 ft. camera 
separation). I'll say up front that I have no desire to do this 
personally as I would most likely quickly make electrical mince meat 
of these perfectly good cameras if I tried it myself. 

I've followed the board here for a while and found a great deal of 
good information on the process. I particularly liked 'Jim's twin 
XR-10M' (different camera, but same concept). I copied his
description 
of the process and took it and the cameras to a local well known 
camera repair service center. Six weeks later they told me they 
couldn't (wouldn't) do it. They were backed up with other work and 
just didn't want to venture into such an esoteric job.

So, what to do?

Does anyone know of someone who can or will offer to twin the
cameras? 
They can be a professional or amateur tinkerer, just have some 
experience in doing this well.
