Maybe. The Wirgins have the distance scale inbetween the lenses. It
shows the distance in the square window cut into the metal shroud that
covers the area between the lenses. The lever on the right hand lens
moves the focus and the distance value changes in the window.
If nothing shows up in that window as you move the focus lever then you
may be missing the distance scale.
Do both lenses turn when you move the focus lever?
The film counter will not show any markings until you put film in the
camera, close the back and start advancing. You can check if any
markings are on the counter wheel at all by using a screwdriver in the
slot on the top of the camera above the film counter window. This turns
the counter wheel manually.

The image quality is very good, and the reliability is random. I have
one that works very well. It is the FED BOY, the only one to buy in my
opinion.
