[photo-3d] RE: Realist and Nimslo, the final work and apology

I left one shot on my present roll to try the Nimslo flash with my Realist.
I put it in the hot shoe, raised the Realist to my eye, and then started
laughing.
After figuring f stop, depth of field, shutter speed, and bounce flash, I
didn't take one thing into account. When you mount the Nimslo flash on the
Realist, you can't press the shutter release.
It seems that the Nimslo flash has the mounting bracket on the right of the
flash instead of the normal center. That means it can be used with any
camera that has the shutter release on the right side. When you put it on a
Realist, it covers the left side of the camera and leaves no way to get to
the Realist's button!
I then moved on to the KMart flash, and will send the completed role to
Pinky's.
Sorry to have raised a question that didn't have an answer, but it did help
me clarify my thoughts about what to do, and how to do it. If the KMart
doesn't work, the Vivitar will be tried next.
Thanks,
Jack
