Lenny Lipton is the author of "Lipton on Filmmaking" (Fireside/Simon &
Schuster: 1979) edited by Chet Roaman. This book collects Lipton's articles
from Super 8 Filmaker magazine. The last section of the book is called "The
Shape of Images to Come" and is about stereoscopic cinema.  The final
chapter in the book is titled "How to Make Your Own 3-D Movies."  It is an
eminently useful discussion of the subject with very practical advice.

Since this book is out of print I suggest a search for it from used
booksellers at:

This internet site is a great resource for locating and purchasing used,
rare and out-of-print books on 3-D.
