[photo-3d] leather care

Hey, it's the new guy again. I recently purchased a realist red 
button viewer that came with a case and some old slide. It smelled 
like old funk. I cleaned everything with alcohol (maybe the wrong 
thing). It seemed to work pretty well, but the case which was dark 
blue faded where I used extra to clean extra. I tried searching the 
files for previous info on this. Can anyone point me to a product 
that will refurbish my leather and not be detrimental to the 
photographic material that comes into such close proximity?
