I have to disagree. I have done this for many, many years and it has
always made my mounting go smoother. I learned this from Bud Shipler, a
long time member and past president of the Utah Stereo Club. I have
watched him mount literally hundreds of rolls of stereo slides for
himself, for customers and other members of the Shipler Family where we
were employed. ALWAYS worked well, and never created any of the problems
mentioned above.
