I agree with Linda - I can detect much finer deviations in a hand 
viewer than I can projected. I also beleive that good alingment is 
every bit as critical in a hand viewer for the best viewing pleasure. 
However I have found that people can "tolerate" bad alignment better in 
hand viewing as compared to projection.

With handviewing you can easily see what the problem is, where in 
projection you just know it is hard to view. Sometimes looking at the 
screen without glasses helps spot the problem, but many times the 
overlapping images makes it too hard to discern.

So here's to proper stereo mounting with no alignment problems no 
matter waht the final viewing format!!!
