[photo-3d] Night shots with Realist?

I've been concentrating mostly on my Realist and my point-and-shoot twin
rig for the past year or so. I use Kodachrome 64 in both. I've been able
to get some beautiful night shots with the twin rig, handheld, using the 64
speed film. I know it must be possible to get these with the Realist also,
because I'm using the same film. However, I have no idea how to set
shutter speed and aperture for these, and it's generally too dark to use a
light meter effectively.
Anybody got any good recipes for hand-held night shots? I'm assuming the
shutter must be about 1/30 sec. or faster, since the shots don't show any
signs of shake, etc. (I do steady my hands on a wall when possible, but
it's not always possible.)
Thanks,
-pd
