On the inside of some film boxes camera settings are given for many
different lighting situations. Follow these guidelines, bracket, and use
a tripod of some kind. Many times I use a table-top tripod pressed
against my chest for the longer exposures. Another receipt for really
dark scenes is for an equivalent daytime shot with a shutter speed of
1/100 sec, a moonlight shot of the same subject becomes 25 minutes plus
bracket for the same aperture.
