[photo-3d] NEW slide film, night shots, kodachrome,

Hi All,

I have shot almost nothing but Provia 100F since it
came out some months ago.  I am still finishing off
some Velvia50, and some ScalaBW200.

Now guess what!?!

I hear that Fuji has Provia 400F!  "WOW" is what I
thought about that.  It is reported to have the grain
of the previous Provia 100, but is shot (without
pushing) at 400ASA.  All of a sudden your flash is
twice as powerfull, the cloudy day isn't so cloudy,
and the night time photos are almost shot as if the
sun is just going down.

Pretty cool, if you ask me.  Although I think I will
still almost always shoot with the 100F (I would shoot
50F if they made it since I HATE GRAIN), I will still
keep some 400F in my fridge and camera truck (bag) at
all times.  Being able to shoot in open shade with
more depth of field will be great for outdoor
portraits.

As of right now, I don't think it is on the shelf. 
B&H doesn't have it, and I have no idea how much it
will cost.  I just recieved some info from Fuji about
it, so it could be a month or 2 before it shows up on
shelves.

As far as Kodachrome, I like 100F better for grain and
color, and the one stop more it offers.  When you
consider that the 400F will have almost as tight a
grain as 64ASA Kodachrome, it makes me say "F" it to
Kodachrome for sure.

There are many sites online dedicated to night time
photography, if you look on Yahoo in the photograhpy
section you can find pages on just nightime stuff. 
Most will tell you to experiment, bracket, and learn
from your results.  I dont' see how you could do it
hand held though.
