Yes, this is different than I do. And both of us are different
from what Paul Talbot does (and offers through RMM).

This is what I do. Paul cuts from under the window aperture to
the edge of the RBT leaving the middle in place. You cut only
under the aperture and leave both the edges and the middle.
All these will work just fine and each have there goog and
less than good points - but they are minor and matter
differently to each individual.

It is real easy as the two halves are just glued or heat
sealed together. Just use a dull knife and pry apart.

When I say I "can" mount a roll in 30 minutes that doesn't
mean I "do". Like you I just can't not look at my images when
I place them in the viewer for the first time. In all reality
it takes from an hour to two hours to do a roll depending on
how good my photography was on that roll *{;-)

I have uploaded the handout I did for the mounting workshop
Dr. T. and I did at Mesa to files section. It is called
<Mounting Workshop.doc> and is a MSWord document with images
so it is rather large at about 1 meg. This was never meant to
be a stand alone guide, but it should help clarify some points.

I am in the process of working with Paul Talbot on making a
video/CD mounting tutorial. There may even be some web
involvement - possibly even a live web cam demo. This is going
to take some time, but should be available before next summer.
If anyone would like to contribute or help on this project,
please conntact Paul or me.

That's all for now,
