[photo-3d] Kodachrome (on topic)

I was forced to learn to mount my own slides in 1997 after Kodak ruined five 
rolls of KR (two weeks worth of work [OK, I don't keep up with George...]).  
I have had them process other rolls (both Kodachrome and E6) since then, but 
I no longer can risk mounting.

To add insult to injury, the local Kodak Processing rep was extremely 
concerned and apologetic...until he heard the word "stereo"...you'd think I 
was a leper or something.  The "usual and customary" customer service 
response to an event like this is replacement film and processing, but I 
didn't even get that.

That said, it was a worthwhile lesson.  I have a better relationship with Jon 
Golden than I ever had with Kodak and my images are much better mounted and 
presented than ever before.

Now, can we put this topic to bed, or at least  move it to the "kodachrome" 
list?
