Canon has just anounced a video zoom lens for interlaced 3-D video
shooting. This lens is designed to fit on their XL-1 DV prosumer grade
video camera.

This lens will be on display in the New York Canon Expo 2000 from
September 13, to September 15, 2000.

Focal Length 7.5mm to 22.5mm, coverage is for 1/3-inch CCD image sensor.
(Equivalent to 54mm to 162mm in 35mm still camera)
Auto focus with manual over-ride.
Auto convergence angle adjustment with manual over-ride.

Closest focus: 1 m

Weight: 1 Kg
