Thanks, Tom.

This looks like the same model I got. I had to order an AC adaptor for an
additional $20 + shipping, because the dongle needs one of the VGA pins to
carry power & apparently on VGA-equipped Macs it doesn't (I use a blue &
white G3). I got the adapter (thanks to Allan Woods) from i-glasses, part
#103816.

If you've got lots of dough you can also use the CrystalEyes glasses, which
are higher quality but cost several hundred $$$$.

Yes, your best bet is probably to have two views side-by-side & use a viewer
like Allan Lewis' Free-viewer's Assistant (is he still making those)?

Stereogler can save pairs loaded from JPS or anaglyph formats as interlaced
images, and it will automatically open a JPS file if sent the appropriate
AppleEvents (e.g. by a web browser). Available for free from

One warning, it does have a conflict (apparently lots of things do) with the
Palm Desktop Extension, though I hear that's been fixed or will very soon be
fixed in an update from Palm.
