[photo-3d] Cheapie Viewer

Despite warnings, I went ahead and ordered a few Taylor Merchant viewers
to try. After all, I'm pretty resourceful and I'll find a way to
accomodate this viewer to fit my needs.  ( so I thought :-)). The
viewers are a disaster! I'm so upset and disappointed, I'm determined to
use these lenses and diffusers for hack projects. 
A while back I removed the plastic film type diffuser from a cardboard
RBT mount. I was determined to find something better to use. Wouldn't
you know the diffuser from the taylor merchant viewer works very well
with the RBT viewer. I affixed the diffuser to the inside of the mount
slot......100% improvement! Now I'm going to try a few designs utilizing
the taylor lenses. If you mix and match pieces from these cheapie
viewers.....you'll end up with a decent giveaway viewer for around
$25.00 !
