Thanks George for the responce. I was about to get my eyes checked.
I have a Brumberger (good starter), a sterling, (Made in wide format)
and the Kodaslide II and the Kodaslide II looks the best to me.

I have a use for ortho stereo and was suprised to find that it was
(almost) impossible to get a realist format viewer that matched the
35 MM FL of the cameras. Of course for ortho stereo you need a
stereo base equal to your eyes and a viewer FL that matches that of
the camera. The 70MM base seemed to be close enough and now I have a
Vivid with the 65 MM lense spacing so I could get there, but a 35 MM
FL viewer I couldn't find. (No gold buttons on ebay)

I have now added lenses to the Kodaslide II and converted it to 35MM
for my ortho use. I now know why 35 MM viewers weren't made readly
available in the 50s. It is much easier to see defects in the
slides, harder to focus, and the 3d effect is not as much as with the
longer FLs. Most people probably would not want it but it works for
my needs.

Thanks for all the info,

Chuck
