I've used a Fargo photo-fun, which is pretty old now (I bought it in
'93). It's dye sublimination, and I've seen no fading (on the other hand
I don't the prints exposed to sunlight, either). It's the media cost, not
the printer that's a killer, though. The last time I bought print material
(some time ago) it was running 75 cents to a dollar per postcard size
print.
I'd not heard about the Epson....
