Let me emphasize that this is the correct thing to do for all the
new members of the list - DO NOT forward on virus warnings, fcc
billing announcements, chain messages cards, etc without checking with one
of the moderators first. Almost universally such things are hoaxes and
or out of date.

A good place to check for virus info (and other threats) is
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/
