I prefer the Realist over the RBT S1 because for the same reason I
choose it over al the other stereo cameras out there. It is easy to
fix. I have been in shooting situations where the location costs
greatly outweighed the cost of my Realist and I wanted to make sure my
camera could do the job. More than once, I've seen cameras go down
during a shoot (models or otherwise) and seen photographers either give
up or go find a backup camera. While I carry a backup, I've found that
I've always been able to get my Realist working with a little jewellers
screwdriver set and some patience. I've have seen so many Kodaks,
Reveres, TDCs, and others go bad in the hands of friends, and they were
always too tough to fix. Never with my Realist.
