I was going to mention the same thing. There is more to the price of
realists than simple collectability. I lie awake at night plotting
crimes so I can buy an f2.8 custom, or, go for the big job and get an
RBT. The problem is that there isn't any other real option for easy,
quality 3d that's a reasonable price (I'm not mentioning the
nimslo/nishika camp because processing has become an issue). The RBT
camera's are such a huge difference in price that the realist, for all
it's quirks and funky ui, is still a very viable alternative.
Oh, and has anyone noticed the movie posters around, "Dr. T & the
Woman"? Do you suppose it will be a tell-all expose of the seamy side of
the 3d culture? Dr. Themelis, any comments?
