I used Dale a few years ago, and it wasn't the grain which bothered me, but
the color saturation. The pictures looked like the echtachrome View Master
reels when they first begin to fade. It is most noticeable on sky and skin
tones. But when you need dupes of View Master, there is no other practical
answer. For realist dupes - I think it is best to remount in Robot mounts
and have a slide dupe made. Again my experience was a few years ago and they
may have improved by now. I have a friend who only uses Dale, and I have
seen better quality, but not consistently.
