This story was interesting, but after reading it and visiting the vendor's website, I'm still not sure exactly how compelling the stereo effect is. The screen is actually 2 LCDs, one in front of the other. They talk mainly of displaying computer graphics, with no mention of live action video. It sounds more like 2.5D. Even they refer to it in one section as "multi-level." Has anybody seen this system in the flesh? At $7K, I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon, unless they'd be willing to swap even for my Toshiba SK-3D7 ;) The article does indicate the level of interest there is in 3D, even expensive systems, that can be viewed as easily as 2D displays.
