Here's some on-topic 3D news!

Another excellent stereo viewer product from the workshop
of Alan Lewis is now available! The Glass Lorgnette I,
made from solid mahogany (of course!):
  - has high quality glass lenses to provide a 3D viewing
    experience vastly superior to that of the common plastic
    lorgnette;
  - is priced lower than Alan's popular achromat lorgnette;
  - fits in a shirt pocket making it is easy to take with you
    to shows, auctions, club meetings, etc.;
  - unlike most Holmes stereoscopes, is easy to use with or
    without eyeglasses;
  - is individually produced and expertly hand finished by Alan
    so it is as beautiful to look at as it is to look through!

About Alan Lewis: Alan is well known among stereo enthusiasts for
his high quality stereo viewer products. See his products page at:
http://members.home.net/3-d/products/products1.htm

Like most of us here, Alan is a 3D hobbyist. Demand for his products is
always high, but production is usually limited. (Darn those real world
demands on his time!) A limited number of the new Glass Lorgnette I
viewers are available now from Rocky Mountain Memories. For more
details, please see: http://www.rmm3d.com/viewers/glasslorgnette.html
Information on how to purchase will be posted to the Sell-3D list.
