If you reread the stats, note that "35 mm film cameras", (presumably
point and shoots, and perhaps including disposables?), are the largest
group at 43.3%, and apparently this figure excludes "35mm SLR's", listed
later at 3.8%. I am still surprised that 110's would be almost up there
with APS format cameras, though. Perhaps there are some cheapie or even
disposable 110's out there that have escaped my notice?

Clearly the stats would look quite different if weighted for dollar
amount rather than number of units sold, especially if one-time-use
cameras are included. A comparison of film sold or processed would be
interesting, but would be hard to compare with reusable media as with
digital or videotape.

Perhaps Mark can clarify the origin of these stats and answer your other
