I received this and I thought it might be of interest to some people
here. I have no comments as I have not tried a FED. - George

Hi Dr. T
Just like to share with you my thought on stereo cameras.
I own more than a dozen stereo cameras. Some are expensive like the Realist
2.8 or the Vivid but the one give me the most satisfaction is the lowly Fed
Boy 7P camera. I bought this camera on Ebay for 129. The lenses are sharp
with modern multicoated technology, those lenses provide very saturated
color much better than any shot from the rest of my collection. Operation is
very simple, flash photography is a snap. Granted, I have couple problems
with this camera (this is the second, the first one a Fed stereo has all
kind of problems), but since then I never have any problem with this one,
once I learn to operate it very gentle i.e advance the film slowly, if it's
tight, you need to turn the take up spool manually to relieve tension
etc..).
I'll someday be able to buy the RBT modern camera, but for now, the Fed Boy
is
my best.
