I too have a FED BOY which I bought new on Ebay. I too can not fault
the lenses on it though I can't say that the color is better with the
FED then with my Realist format cameras.

Although I have had no problems with mine, I can agree that it is not
a camera for the ham-handed.

While I am not big on automatic cameras, and mostly shoot my Revere
33 with the Wollensak F2.7s, I do sometimes like the FED on those
partly cloudy days when the light is up and down a couple of F
stops. I wish it would tell me what F stop and shutter speed it is
using and I wish it had an easier to use camera case. Otherwise, it
is a good camera for the price.

It would be great if someone who has a S1 could get a FED BOY, take
shots of the same things with them and compare the photos. It would
have to be someone who is not biased toward either camera and would
make a fair comparison. What do you think Dr. T?
