I think the above warning might lead people to believe that there is some
serious threat to ones health. I disagree. I think the poster is correct
in saying that it could cause strain - kids wear a patch over one eye as
a treatment for lazy eye disease, but for most of us, there is no problem
serious enough to worry about.

I seriously doubt that any of us would suffer any problems. The only way
I could see a problem is if we closed or covered one eye for most of our
waking moments, every day for many years. I suggest that if any of you
are worried about this, ask an eye doctor about it.
