Specifically, how have you tested this? I have a photograph of an
overhead stained glass window I made years ago with my Yashica. It is an
extremely sharp image, and compares with my Leica. I have Christmas
photos taken with an Electro 35 GSN - also incredibly sharp. But I am not
about to proclaim that the Yashica optics are as good or better than the
images made by my M3.

So I ask the question: How did you test both lenses? And is your 2.8
Realist in good working order? No offence, but I simply can't believe
that a Fed camera's lenses are as good as those on the 2.8 Realist.
