This is how I do it and how I have been teaching it. However, 
now that I have found these new pin bars, there is no reason 
to. Just have a separate jig for each vertical offset and you 
are set. That is only eight different jigs. Unless you also 
have one of each aperture size as well! If it is off on one 
jig just quickly transfer it to another. It shouldn't take 
long at all before you will be able to judge the offset and 
not have to try several before getting the right one.
