I agree that's how they produced it, but a company has to 
stand by and be totally responsible for anything they sell
with their name on it.  Whatever features or warts that the
camera has belongs to the Realist company as well.

That said, I like my Realist 45 too (one that use to be
yours).  It's my sentimental favorite, probably for similar
reasons as yourself, plus it along with the Kodak are probably
the two easiest to use among the 50's cameras that I've used.
