[photo-3d] field sequential video photography

I have one of those field sequential adapters for a camcorder, but no
camcorder. I resisted buying a camcorder when we started our family,
because I didn't want to watch my children grow up again in real time-- 3D
photos are the way to go for family history! 

I'd like to try to make some field sequential experiments, so does anyone
have any recommendations about a relatively low cost camcorder (a used one
is fine, in fact preferable) that works well with the system? I don't want
state of the art, just something that will function.
