Don't forget the fourth method, which is shooting slide film and then having
the slides scanned and printed on a Fuji 370. For my needs, this method is
ideal. Advanced Digital Imaging (www.adiweb.net) is a company that will
create a Kodak Photo CD from Realist format slides, or you can mount the 5P
images in pairs of 2 X 2 mounts and have the scanning done at any Wal-Mart
or Moto-Foto that has a 370. If you have Photoshop or something similar you
can edit the scans before having prints made, which provides a level of
control analagous to having your own darkroom. I recently mounted some of
my favorite Nimslo slides as pairs in 2 X 2 mounts and had them scanned and
printed on the 370. The results compare favorably to any slide printing
method I've ever encountered. I used to debate whether to chose slide or
print film every time I started a new pair of rolls. I now shoot slide film
exclusively because I know I can easily get good prints made anytime. Jim
