The ideal way to do this would be with LCD glasses that darkened 
either the left or right lens depending on the direction of the on- 
screen motion.  Perhaps the degree of lens darkening could be varied 
depending on the speed of the motion.  This would make possible 
instant pulfrich 3D "conversions" of any film with a lot of side to 
side camera movement.  I've heard rumors that Sony has a patent on
