I put out an all-points bulletin on this some time ago, with no response.  I
pointed out at the time that although most camcorders should work with it,
the main consideration for choice (other than price and other features you
like) would be the acceptance angle of the lens and the distance that the
unit is from the nodal point of the lens when it is mounted.  This would
determine how wide an angle you could cover (the widest angle zoom position
before the lens would image the edges).  I would have hoped that someone had
access to various camcorders (such as working in a video store) and could
check this out.
