Yes it would!!!

Sadly, none that I know of. (But if someone knows otherwise
please chime in!) There were the japanese VHD videodiscs
in the late 1980's in field-sequential 3-D, with an impressive
list of titles: "House of Wax", "Dial M", "Friday the 13/3-D"
to name a few. 3DTV Corporation tried to issue a few others
as well, but copywrite costs/issues stopped those. VRex
had once looked into licensing some titles but found the
costs prohibitive. A company called H3D had actually made
an agreement with Universal for exclusive field-sequential
releases of "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and "It Came
from Outer Space", but sadly closed before these video
versions could be made available.

My best idea so far a profitable win/win scenario for a
field-sequential 3-D video release would be to release them
on DVD using two 3-D formats. DVD's dual layer capabilities
would allow both anaglyph & field-sequential 3-D versions
to be included. This way consumers can buy a disc with
cheap red/blue glasses included and have instant 3-D.
(Selling mass market 3-D DVDs that require expensive
glasses is probably one of the biggest sticking points.)
But a superior field-sequential version would also be
on the disc for those who have field-sequential set-ups
or wish to upgrade to field-sequential. This would also
help eliminate the myth that 3-D via TV "doesn't work".
Best regards,
