but they are geared up for it. If anything, we should be
amazed at how successful they HAVE been considering the
films they show are mostly crap (IMHO)."

Not being able to keep up with P3D, I don't know if anyone has reviewed
the IMAX movie "Cyberworld". I saw it last week and was VERY pleased
with it. I have seen many other 3D movies, including anaglyph shorts,
features like "Dial M For Murder" and the theme park movies "Honey I
Shrunk the Audience", "Terminator 2 3D" and the Muppet 3D movie. I have
also seen the IMAX movies "T-Rex..." and "Journey of Man". All these
movies had good moments, but all were not satisfying overall. In fact,
after seeing "Dial M..." in 3D, I found myself feeling that the 3D
didn't add much to that movie - it would have been just as good in a
flat presentation!

But "Cyberworld" restored my excitement about 3D movies. This was
everything I had ever wanted in a visual experience. I feel it is by
far more engaging and impressive than any other film I have seen. The
artwork is gorgeous, and the 3D effects really add to the film - they're
not just a gimmick or an add-on. I had not expected it to be that good,
since the only thing I saw promoted was the Simpson's and Antz sections,
which were not the best parts of the film. Anyway, I would not
disparage IMAX, as to me this film shows the potential of the medium.
