Out of curiousity, when you say they "work fine for you,"
what does that mean? I don't know anything about the lenses
in the kit, though presumably they are inexpensive and not
the best quality. Have you ever used a viewer with achromatic
lenses? People who have only used viewers with inexpensive
lenses are usually stunned to see how much better their
stereocards look when viewed in a viewer with achromatic
lenses. You'll probably be surprised at the additional clarity
and depth resolution you will see if you try a viewer with
high quality achromatic lenses. Of course they cost more,
but if you want to see your images at their best, it's more
than worth it. Not many people would want to buy them for
give-away viewers, but stereo shooters and collectors owe it
to themselves to use either good quality glass lenses or very
high quality achromatic lenses.
