[photo-3d] brilliant advice

Yet again we are graced (as we are dozens of times a
day) by some wonderfully useless advice:

---
Tis True..... 2D can be converted to 3D in all its
glorious depth. All
it
takes is gobs of computer power to do it. All you are
asking the
computer
to do is take an image and make another image taking
into account the
differences that would occur from the second
viewpoint.
---

Wow! How about that. So that is all there is to it,
a computer with lots of power.

Jeeze, to bad there are only 6 people on this list
that have actually made some high quallity stereo
conversions for companies, yet someone that never has
spends some time to let everyone know that all it
takes is a powerfull computer.

I don't make much of a habbit of pointing out other's
bad/pointless advice, but I am making a formal request
here. PLEASE only answer a question if you can
actually answer it. If everyone on this list just
posted: Yup, realist cameras exist,.... Yup, you can
find stereoscope lenses somewhere..., etc.... To
every question, it would be difficult to find the real
answers in all that mess.

And, yes, I am one of the people on this list that
have made a living doing stereoscopic conversions.
And actually you don't need alot of computing power,
infact, RAY ZONE had done it for decades without any
computer at all, and I did it 6 years ago with a
Penium 90meghz. It actually takes a strong
understanding of stereoscopics, and many other talents
to do a highquallity conversion.
