We can produce 3D Christmas Cards, either as a self mailing postcard with
glasses attached http://www.rainbowsymphony.com/postcards.html or a printed
card with anaglyph 3D Glasses included in the envelope.  The only issue we
have is quantity.  I may be better to coordinate a group print run.
We can have a nice series of images and all can benefit from an economy of
scale.

In '97 and '98 I sent out lenticular Christmas cards - Nimslo prints work
well in commonly available photo greeting cards, and I got many favorable
comments about the "holograms".   Unless I can find a way to get non
scratchy lenticular prints for a  reasonable price I won't be sending any
more of those out.  Last year I gave several "Elvira" slide viewers, each
with the "Tru-Vue" style 5 image cards and flourescent lamps glued to the
front.    If time permits I'm hoping to use the recently posted View-Master
Photoshop template to create a few personal VM reels from scans of my slides
for holiday gifts this year.   At last night's NYSS meeting Peter Sinclair
had some beautiful Stereojet prints on display.  I was struck at how
impressive even a business card sized Stereojet is when viewed with
polarized glasses.  It's possible to cut out sixteen 2" X 2.5" images from
one $200 8" X 10" Stereojet print, yielding a per image cost of about
$13.00.  Still a bit steep for Christmas cards, but if the cost of this
amazing technology comes down I hope to someday be sending out photo holiday
cards with polarized glasses included.   Jim Harp
