I used a Teco Nimslo for some time after my original unmodified Nimslo started to have problems, partly through my own experiments on it. I bought the close up atatchments as well and after I bought my Fed used it mostly for close ups. I found this could give good results on slide film but not so good with prints.
It developed a problem with the wind-on in 97 in very wet conditions in Norway I have been able to fix this but I now have to cock the shutter seperately to the wind on. More serious it has developed the underexposure problem which I believe is common to many Nimslos because of their age, and I believe this is not related to use so any "New" Teco Nimslo's (are they still available) may also have the problem. Apart from this I would like to have a Teco again for close ups. P.J.Homer
