Some LCD projectors such as the Epson Solitaire have polarised light output and this is different for the different colours. One is polarised in one plane and the other two at right angles to it, if you are lucky yours will have the red polarised in one plane and the green and blue at right angles to it. So whether you are using red/green or red/cyan you could perhaps use the polarisation instead with a silver screen. The problem is that the polarisations will be vertical/horizontal instead of opposite diagonals so you will not be able to use standard glasses. The glasses that came with the Fed projector were vertical/horizontal but you only got five and I dont know of any other source for them, I think most Fed owners like myself have converted to the diagonal standard so there could be some spares around, then there is the problem of whether they are the right way around. Otherwise you may have to make your own.
