As George said, these lens/shutter assemblies would have been surplus when
Revere and Wollensak stereo camera production stopped. These cameras were
basically the same, however the Wollensak had superior lenses and shutters.

There was a large quantity of both variants of lens/shutter assemblies
available 15 to 20 years ago. I am amazed that some are still around at such
a reasonable price.

The Wollensak assemblies were very popular as they could easily be used to
replace the lower spec Revere lens/shutter assemblies - hence the Wollenvere
or Revensak.
