And now... a second opinion:

Through local stereo club activities I have come into
contact with two fellows, both beginners in stereo.
Both used the Loreo and were very happy. One has
moved to Nishika and Realist but still likes his Loreo
prints. The other is still in the Loreo stage and
he loves his Loreo prints. He brought them in
our last meeting, wanting to share them with the
group.

This experience let me to believe that the Loreo is
a fine way to get started in stereo. Low price and
convenience make this product very attractive (price
has dropped as low as $30 in some Discovery stores).
After my recommendation, our club purchased a Loreo
for some of our beginning members to use.

Unquestionably, the Nimslo (also Nishika) and Realist
Kodak and other 50s stereo camera will give better
results. But at the expense of convenience. How do
you make prints from Nimslo or Realist? Not as easy
as getting prints back from the Loreo. And no need
to worry about getting a viewer.

Loreo makes a fine starter stereo camera. If you get
tired of it after the 3rd roll and move up, just give
it to a child or a friend to use.
