Here is a third opinion. I (Mr. Q-VU) so highly regard the Discovery camera
(nee Loreo), that we use them for promotional purposes ... to introduce
folks to stereo. The beauty of this camera is that it gets people up and
running in stereo right away. They don't have to fool with finding a
processor; any one-hour place can do it. We have the Q-VU-X mount, which I
supply along with the camera and a Sample Q-VU kit. The X-mount, originally
made for Nimslo and beam-splitter stereo prints, takes a
Loreo/Argus/Discovery print perfectly. (Just a bit of a trim at the top or
bottom of the print.) The completed view-card can then be viewed in a
standard Holmes type viewer, without fooling with the (IMO) eye-torturing
viewer provided in the Discovery kit. Go get one! Quentin.
