[photo-3d] Re: RBT Mounts and film curl
Sometimes a strip of film may appear to be quite flat after hanging it or
putting it under a pile of books for some days. Still, when you are cutting
and mounting, the chips can curl up again. In my opinion this is caused by
the heating up of the chips. If you are using one of those small handy
illuminated film cutting devices, the film can get quite warm from the
simple light bulb inside the cutting device. If you are using a light box
illuminated by TL tubes (cutting the film by hand), the chips get
considerably less warm, and film curl is also much less.
