[photo-3d] Sun sets on Sunset Lab

Thanks to everybody who replied to my processing/mounting question. As of today (Nov 30) I still haven't received my film from Kodak. I will certainly let you know how it turns out.

I am saddened to announce that Sunset Color Lab of Los Angeles has gone out of business. Sunset offered E-6 processing and mounting of Realist-format stereo for $9.00/roll. I sent them my first Realist roll two weeks ago and it was returned as undeliverable. (Great luck, right?) A call to Popular Photography magazine confirmed that the lab closed. They are trying to find out what happened.

I'm sure you've seen Sunset's ad -- it has been in the photo magazines for decades. I used Sunset for medium-format slide processing/mounting, half-frame prints, and miscellaneous services that other labs don't offer. 

R.I.P. Sunset, whoever you were.
