[photo-3d] Time Capsule & M&M 3D figures

George Themelis asked when the Columbus Time Capsule is due to be opened.
That will depend on the curiosity of future historians as no "Do not
open before 2100/whenever" note appears on the marker over the Capsule.
That was a long, rather heatedly debated subject and it was decided to
let the Columbusites of the future decide when then want to open it.
I forgot to mention that one of the Stereocards I put in Capsule was an
antique card made in 1862. It was of some sort of a guard/whatever near
a display in a museum in Baltimore. It survived 138 years above ground,
wonder how it will do below the surface?
I have one other Stereocard of about the same age. It was exposed on 25
July 1862 and was put on sale about a week later. It shows a Lion Statue,
which I am very interested in as it is a fascinating story. The Lion was
moved from Flensburg, Germany to Berlin to Copenhagen. The Danes want to
return it to Flensburg, the Germans don't want it returned. To further
add to the interest, there was a zinc copy of the statue cast in Berlin
in 1869 and it is still there. Through my good friend Klaus Kemper I
arranged for Professor Erhardt Senf, who lives in Berlin, to drive 20
miles and make me some stereo negatives of the zinc copy. The Idstedt
Lion has it's own story on Flensburg Online. If anyone is interested I
will send them the URL for this website. Contact me by personal email,
please. But remember the language of the website is German. This is the
same website where 84 of my anaglyphs can be seen.
I don't know if there are any Publix Supermarkets where you live or not.
But if there are and you are interested in one of the M&M 3D figures,
they are on sale for $3.75, at least in Columbus, Georgia. I didn't have
one until today, but at that price I couldn't turn it down.
